Personal Projects

Here you can find some prototypes I've worked on for game jams:

University Projects

I worked on this project during my internship for my bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Salerno. The scope refers to AR Foundation as a primary tool(API) to develop augmented reality applications for industrial purposes. The prototype has been designed for a coffee machine, hence the name.
The primary concern was to test both the marker-based and markerless approach, discussing their accuracy regarding the tridimensional tracking of objects through a display.

This is the project I made for my DataBase course; it's a really simple java application that communicates with MySQL using JDBC to handle a database for storing purchases of digital videogames.

This is the project I worked on for my Web Development course; it's a website made for purchasing services to take care of animals (baths, grooming...).

This is the project I worked on for my Software Engineering course; it's a small e-learning platform for college level students to share documents in.
It lists all the documentation made along the course, but it lacks the testing.

Scratch Projects

A small space invader game made with Scratch, but with a twist!

Project made using Scratch to build an interactive lecture for kids to learn basics of algorithms.

About

Hi, my name is Daniele and I'm from Marcianise, a small town from southern Italy.
Leaving highschool with a poor scientific background, I decided to approach programming through a BCs in Computer Science, granting myself tools to prototype ideas.
During these years, I've worked on myself on several levels, considering both an academic and personal perspective; I've participated in different student projects and learned how to develop solutions by myself or cooperate with other people.
This means that I can approach problems on a technical level, even though I am not particularly proficient in any programming language.
I've been enjoying playing videogames for as long as I can remember. They were my spark as a child and a first way for me to approach problem solving. To this day, they're my greatest passion.Due to my creative and analytical mindset, I developed a much larger interest in designing games, rather than programming them and I'm eager to build a career inside the gaming industry through that path.I generally strive for challenges and I don't easily give up on them.
